(Seremban, 3rd) Sinaran Pelangi School recently held a warm and touching year-end appreciation luncheon at J and Lof Café, Seremban, following its graduation ceremony, marking a perfect end to the academic year. The gathering brought together the school board, principal, teachers, staff, and volunteers in a homely atmosphere, feeling more like a family reunion than an official event.
In her welcome speech, Board Chairperson Ms. Lui Shiyun sincerely thanked all parties for their support throughout the year. She expressed her gratitude to the team for their unwavering support through successes and challenges and for their daily dedication and care for the students. Subsequently, board member Dr. Haslin delivered remarks affirming the spirit of dedication demonstrated during the recent graduation and academic excellence awards ceremony. She emphasized that this achievement belongs to every "pair of hands and every heart" working tirelessly and selflessly behind the scenes.
The luncheon aimed to recognize and reinforce the core strength of the school community. The room was filled with laughter: teachers shared classroom anecdotes, board members and school staff enjoyed warm conversations, and volunteers reminisced about their experiences assisting with various activities. After the meal, school advisor Madam Cheng Shijuan thoughtfully organized two lighthearted games—"Speed Math" and "Colorblind Challenge"—sparking friendly competition between board members and staff. Both sides competed with wit and laughter, as cheers and giggles filled the air. Each round of victory was met with enthusiastic applause, and every mistake brought on more laughter, turning these simple games into cherished memories.
The atmosphere reached its peak during the lucky draw session. Prizes were generously sponsored by the board, while game prizes were provided by Vice Chairman Mr. Foo Yong Ching, who also fully sponsored the appreciation luncheon. His gesture was met with sincere gratitude from all attendees.
