(Bandar Seri Begawan, 16th) The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Brunei held the launch ceremony for the first 'SNS Supporters Program' at the embassy. The program aims to promote Korean culture and deepen mutual understanding between the peoples of Korea and Brunei through social media activities.
This year, the embassy has selected a total of 12 supporters, including 11 Bruneian youths and 1 Korean university student residing in Brunei. Most Bruneian supporters are university students. They will create and share various social media content related to Korea, including Korean culture, cuisine, tourism, as well as embassy events. Outstanding content will have the chance to be featured on the official social media platforms of the embassy.
The embassy hopes that the activities of the supporters can enhance the Bruneian people's understanding of Korea and contribute to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
At the launch ceremony, the Korean Ambassador to Brunei, Sohn Nam-gook, encouraged the supporters, saying: "I hope that young people from Korea and Brunei can deepen their understanding of each other through this program, and become bridges for friendship and cooperation between the two countries."
The SNS supporters will carry out various activities throughout the year, including participating in events hosted by the embassy and creating creative online content to introduce Korea to Brunei.
