(Seria, 15th) Seria Chinese Middle School Kindergarten successfully held its 2025 Year-End Parent Open Day today. The event, themed “Embracing an Encounter, Cultivating a Blossom,” saw enthusiastic participation from parents of all kindergarten children, creating a warm and efficient platform for communication and partnership between home and school.
During the preparation stage, teachers from each class conducted comprehensive and detailed evaluations of the students’ learning achievements over the academic year, based on multiple dimensions including age characteristics, cognitive development, language and communication abilities, artistic and creative expression, learning quality and attitude, as well as physical development and health. They thoughtfully compiled year-end progress reports for each child. These reports not only summarize the children’s learning progress but also reflect the teachers’ professional educational philosophies. Meanwhile, the entire kindergarten staff carefully decorated the venue; from the welcoming décor to the orderly displays, every detail demonstrated the school’s hospitality to parents and the importance given to the event, establishing an excellent atmosphere for its smooth conduct.
Upon parents’ arrival at the kindergarten today, teachers from each class presented the meticulously prepared year-end progress reports to them. The teachers patiently interpreted the report contents, illustrating the children’s growth and progress over the year from multiple aspects: subject knowledge mastery, learning ability enhancement, cultivation of interests and hobbies, to the development of social skills. Teachers also provided professional parenting guidance tailored to each child’s specific situation, offering parents support to better accompany and guide their children’s education at home. Parents listened attentively and engaged in active exchanges with teachers, fostering a lively and harmonious atmosphere on site.
Principal Dr. Zhang Guijuan attended the event and warmly conversed with parents. She stated: “Early childhood education is a career filled with love and responsibility and it concerns the future of every child. In order to be fully prepared for the new 2026 academic year, a new book sales area for all grades was set up at the event site. Parents could thoughtfully select suitable new books according to their child’s grade and needs, making ample preparation for the upcoming school year. This initiative not only provided convenience for parents, but also filled the children with anticipation and longing for their new learning journey.
This Parent Open Day concluded successfully in a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
