On the 3rd, PM Wong posted on Facebook, sharing a photo of the COVID-19 self-test kit, which showed two red lines, indicating a positive result.

He said that he woke up with a severe sore throat on Tuesday morning. "At first, I thought it was just the common flu but decided to test myself, and the result showed that after so many years, I have finally been infected with the coronavirus."

PM Wong had just made an introductory visit to Thailand on November 28. In mid-November, he visited Peru and Brazil for a week to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders' Meeting and the G20 Summit.

PM Wong stated that he is currently feeling well and will be working from home and self-isolating during this period.

He also mentioned that with the holidays approaching, many people will be traveling, and he reminded people to get vaccinated against the flu and other vaccines promptly.

"If you feel unwell, please wear a mask and take the necessary precautions to protect your health and the health of others. Finally, I wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!"
