(Bandar Seri Begawan, 21st) Recently, the Brunei Chinese Charity Association has made remarkable progress in fundraising for the major crematorium construction project. This success is due to the active efforts and close cooperation of its committee members, including President Sun Shengli, Vice President Lin Pengguo, Treasurer Li Chunjin, Secretary Song Jinghua, and Committee Member Lin Dencai, which has attracted wide attention and strong support from all sectors of society.
The purpose of this project is to improve local funeral facilities, enhance the level of public services, and respond to the community’s long-term needs. Since its inception, the project has received generous donations from many caring individuals, demonstrating Brunei society’s strong sense of public welfare and community solidarity.
Yesterday, more good news came in at the fundraising event: Wu Jingtai voluntarily and generously donated $30,000 as a fund for the crematorium construction. His benevolent and righteous act is truly commendable.
