 After ending two marriages, actress Christy Chung married Chinese actor Zhang Lunshuo, who is 12 years younger than her, in 2016, bringing three daughters into the marriage. Recently, Zhang Lunshuo admitted on a show that he has considered having a child of his own, bluntly stating that 'children are the glue that holds a family together.' His comments have sparked discussions among netizens.

On the latest episode of “Rookie in the Workplace: Finance Season,” Zhang Lunshuo was asked by host Zhang Quanling whether he and Christy Chung have plans to have a child. He admitted that both of them feel they should let things happen naturally, but since his wife is already 55, 'it would definitely require technological support and intervention.' He also said that if attempts fail, they would consider adoption.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Quanling, somewhat puzzled, asked: “There are already three children, so where does the desire to adopt come from?” Zhang Lunshuo responded, “When it comes to children, it really brings a special sense of family. They really are the glue; the two of you always have something to work on together for the sake of the child.”

Zhang Lunshuo’s interview clips sparked two camps of opinion online. Some said, “Having a child at 55 is very risky,” and, “What more can be said?
