42-year-old Best Actress Ali Lee left her TV station to start her own studio and now manages her own work. She recently departed for Malaysia to film the drama ‘Yi He’. However, during filming she unexpectedly fell ill and needed to take nearly 10 types of medicine, causing great concern among viewers. Fortunately, Ali is gradually recovering!
She shared on social media that while filming in Malaysia she not only received care from her longtime co-star Lai Lok-yi, but even when she was sick, she had to go to his place to get medicine. She joked that Lai Lok-yi’s house seemed to have turned into a pharmacy: “Especially when my cough was at its worst, I’d go knock on his door to get medicine and jokingly told him, ‘Thank you, Doctor, I’m here to get my prescription!’”
