Multiple videos circulating on foreign social media platforms suggest that at the Dahanji Market (bazaar) in Fangshan, Beijing, on the 29th, someone drove a bulldozer into a crowd, plowing through and striking people. The footage shows multiple people lying on the ground, fate unknown.
According to Sing Tao Daily, several videos began circulating on the "X" platform starting on the evening of the 29th, purportedly filmed at Fangshan’s Dahanji Market on the morning of the 29th.
The videos show a bustling market with many booths in operation. Suddenly, a heavy bulldozer rushes into the shopping crowd, crashing left and right, leveling multiple stalls. Many people failed to escape in time and were knocked down. Witnesses say that some people were run over by the bulldozer. Photos from the scene show several individuals lying unconscious on the ground.
Some citizens managed to climb atop the moving bulldozer and collectively dragged the driver out, stopping the bulldozer from further ramming into the crowd. The middle-aged male driver was surrounded and beaten by citizens after being pulled from the cab, suffering head injuries and bleeding.
There is audio believed to be recorded at the scene, with witnesses stating that the incident has already resulted in 7 or 8 deaths.
Witnesses report the incident occurred at around 11 a.m. on the 29th. The affected road had originally been closed off, and the bulldozer apparently broke through a checkpoint before entering.

Public information shows that Dahanji Market is a large, long-standing traditional rural market in Zhoukoudian, Fangshan District.
