(Bandar Seri Begawan, 11th) Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC), through its subsidiary Brunei Neuroscience, Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre (BNSRC), carried out a donation activity aimed at supporting stroke patients under their care.
This is also part of the 2025 World Stroke Day series of events. The activity aligns with this year's global theme, "#EverySecondCounts", emphasizing the importance of timely care and collective support for stroke survivors.
Dr. Dawn Antony, Co-chair of World Stroke Day 2025, along with committee members and BNSRC team members, participated in this donation activity. The event aimed to extend care beyond the hospital, enhancing the well-being of stroke patients undergoing rehabilitation and treatment at JPMC.
Volunteers visited a total of 16 stroke patients and their families in Brunei-Muara District, carefully preparing essential care packages and delivering them to the patients to express care and encouragement for their recovery journey.
This initiative reflects JPMC's ongoing commitment to improving the standard of stroke care and promoting a spirit of compassion and teamwork among its staff. Through collective action and empathy, the institution continues to strengthen its role in supporting stroke patients and their families.
