(Thailand, 21st) A Thai Olympic boxing gold medalist who had fled after being implicated in a lottery scam case has been arrested by the police.
According to AFP, Thai police issued a statement on the 19th saying that police had discovered and arrested 45-year-old Manus at a "hideout" in Nonthaburi province. He was wanted for failing to appear in court on two fraud charges.
This light welterweight boxer won a gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics and a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
