US President Trump has announced the delivery of 'Patriot' air defense missiles to Ukraine to help defend the country.
On the 13th, Trump made the announcement at the Andrews Joint Base in Maryland, but he did not reveal the quantity of missiles and stated that the US would be reimbursed for the cost of these missiles by the European Union.
Trump: Putin Talks a Good Game
Trump once again criticized Russia's Putin that day. He told reporters: "We will provide them (Ukraine) with desperately needed Patriot missiles, because Putin has really surprised a lot of people. He talks a good game, but at night he bombs everyone... I don't like that."
Ukrainian President Zelensky has repeatedly requested more defense systems to resist Russia's daily missile and drone attacks.
NATO Secretary General Rutte is scheduled to visit Washington this week to meet with Trump, US Secretary of State Rubio, and Secretary of Defense Hergesus. NATO stated that this visit is closely related to Trump’s recent announcement of a policy to sell weapons to allied countries for transfer to Ukraine.
