(Miri, 10th) Deputy Minister of Tourism, YB Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, stated that the educational system is constantly evolving, and for special education students, the development of physical and social skills is just as important as academic learning. This helps them better integrate into everyday life.
Speaking last night at the 2024/2025 Special Education Integrated Program (PPKI) Graduation and Awards Ceremony of SMK St. Joseph in Miri, held at the Imperial Palace Hotel, Sebastian Ting encouraged students of the PPKI to strive for excellence, uphold morality and discipline, regardless of the challenges they may encounter in the future, to ensure personal and national progress. He also extended his best wishes to graduates, hoping they would apply their knowledge and experience to the development of their families, society, and the nation.In his speech, Sebastian Ting congratulated the teachers and students, noting that the ceremony aims to recognize and celebrate the achievements of special education students over the past year.
