(Kuching, 4th) — An accident occurred at Mile 8, Penrissen Road, early this morning, where a car skidded and crashed into a tree, resulting in the death of a female driver.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department received a report at 2:40 a.m. and immediately dispatched rescue personnel to the scene.
"The accident involved a car suspected of losing control and crashing into a tree."
"At the time, the female driver was trapped in the driver’s seat and had lost consciousness. Medical personnel at the scene pronounced her dead upon arrival."
Subsequently, rescue personnel used professional equipment to extricate the victim’s body and handed it over to medical staff and police for further handling.
Cleanup at the scene was completed by 4:28 a.m.
