(Bandar Seri Begawan, 12th Jan) Brunei Dokong Temple will hold a ceremony to worship Heaven and Earth at 9 a.m. on January 15, 2025 (Wednesday), the 16th day of the 12th lunar month, at the Chinese Fuk Shou Shan in Balakas, Bandar, and at 1:30 p.m. at the Chinese Fuk Shou Shan in Muara.
All board members are required to prepare two dishes and bring offerings of gold and silver paper as they see fit. All board members are requested to attend on time.
In ancient times, Heaven and Earth were revered as those who uphold justice and govern all things. In the past, people prayed annually to Heaven and Earth for protection for themselves and their families, and to give thanks for their blessings.
The gathering time for the worship ceremony in the morning is 8:45 a.m. at Balakas Fuk Shou Shan, Bandar, and in the afternoon at 1:15 p.m. at Muara Fuk Shou Shan.
