(Kuching, 28th) Minister of Works Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi has been awarded the “2025 Greater ASEAN Outstanding Leadership Award” by the ASEAN Economic Club & KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific.
He shared in a Facebook post today that he was deeply honored to receive this prestigious award alongside former Penang Governor Tun Dato' Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak at a gathering held recently in Kuala Lumpur.
He said: “This award belongs not only to me personally, but also to the entire Ministry of Works team. Everyone has worked tirelessly to strengthen Malaysia’s infrastructure, connectivity, and regional cooperation.”
He also urged all sectors to continue working hand-in-hand to build a more sustainable, more competitive, and even more closely connected ASEAN.
As the Kapit Member of Parliament, Nanta added that leaders, policymakers, and business leaders from various ASEAN countries were also present that evening, making the awards night even more meaningful.
