(Bandar Seri Begawan, 19th) The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), through the Bangar Police Station, successfully seized multiple contraband items based on information provided by the public. After receiving a tip-off, Bangar Police officers proceeded to conduct a search at an unoccupied house in Kampong Selili, Batu Apoi, Temburong District. During the search, several black plastic bins suspected of containing contraband were discovered.
Further investigation found that the bins contained various types of alcohol and cigarettes, including 600 bottles of alcoholic beverages of different brands and 25 cartons of cigarettes. All the contraband was seized and brought back to Bangar Police Station, and later handed over to the Customs Department for further action.
The Royal Brunei Police Force thanked the public for their cooperation and information, and called on the public to continue reporting any suspicious activities in order to safeguard the nation’s security and well-being.
