Ten years ago, after marrying Zhang Lunshuo, all three daughters took their stepfather’s surname and the family has been extremely harmonious. The Youngest Daughter Has Grown Into a Graceful Lady
All three of Christy Chung’s daughters inherited her excellent genes and have become even more beautiful as they’ve grown. The youngest, Cayla, is now a graceful young lady, but was actually born with amblyopia. During her livestream, Christy Chung revealed: “She (Cayla) was born with one eye that couldn’t see; this was congenital. I took her older sister, the eldest, for an eye check, and she (Cayla) was just playing.”
Christy Chung hadn’t expected that taking her daughter for a checkup would reveal the youngest’s eye problem: “I asked the doctor, ‘Could you please check my other daughter?’ She was 5 at that time, and after checking, he told me, ‘You must take her to a doctor.’” Christy was shocked at how serious the problem was: “One of her eyes was over a 1000 degrees—it was pretty much blind. She had a lazy eye (amblyopia), I didn’t know!”
Christy felt guilty that her daughter was only 5 and she had overlooked the issue for so long: “She was so young, she didn’t even know. Since birth she could only see with one eye. But she’s amazing, you know? She spent two years patching the weaker eye, and in those two years, the prescription dropped from 1000 degrees to 500.” Christy spent two years treating her youngest daughter and is glad things have now improved.
