A 39-year-old driver lost control and stepped on the accelerator, causing the car to crash into the wall on the 3rd floor of a parking lot, with half of the vehicle 'hanging' in mid-air, nearly falling off! The driver was unharmed, but debris from the hit wall fell and struck another car parked outside below the parking lot.
The SUV was hit, shattering the car mirror.
This incident occurred on Tuesday (4th) around 1:15 PM, at the 3B floor of the parking lot of the Cardiac Medical Center at Serdang Hospital, Selangor; videos of the incident went viral on social media, sparking widespread discussion among netizens.
A large amount of debris from the wall remains on the ground after the incident.
The Fire and Rescue Department was notified at 2:25 PM and sent personnel to the scene to assist in safely moving the vehicle back into the parking area.

Sepang Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Noor Heizan stated that a Malay male was driving a Honda WR-V small sports utility vehicle when it lost control and crashed through the parking lot wall.

He stated that debris from the destroyed wall fell and hit a Toyota Avanza multipurpose vehicle parked below.

He quoted the investigation report, stating that the driver was not injured and admitted it was his negligence in stepping on the accelerator, losing control and causing the accident, and not intentional damage.

Police are investigating under Section 43(1) of the 1987 Road Transport Act (negligent driving causing an accident). If convicted, the driver can be fined no less than 5000 ringgit and up to 10,000 ringgit, and may also face imprisonment for up to 12 months.

Additionally, the violator's driving license will have this violation recorded.

The police also urged the public not to make speculative remarks or share false news to avoid causing public unrest.
