China CIFTIS Opens in Beijing, Focuses on New AI Applications

The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened on the 10th at the Beijing Shougang Park, with new tech applications such as AI emerging as major highlights. A total of 113 enterprises will release 198 new products and achievements.

● Hong Kong Pavilion Showcases Multiple Original Technology Products

A Sing Tao Daily reporter was on site and observed that the Hong Kong Pavilion featured several original tech products, including wearable AI devices, miniature stabilization gimbals, and gait trainers.

The five-day fair is themed “Smart Integration Leading the Future, Services Trade Energizing Renewal.” Chan Ka-yin, Principal Representative of HKTDC North China & Northeast, said that Hong Kong is focusing on promoting sectors such as technology and creative design this time, hoping to bring more high-quality products from Hong Kong companies into China. At the same time, Hong Kong aims to play its role as a “super connector,” leveraging its high-quality international services to help Chinese companies go global.

Chan pointed out that with technological innovation, many new scenarios have emerged in areas such as artificial intelligence and digital trade. Enterprises need to transform towards high-end, intelligent, and green models. These new business models offer Hong Kong a great platform opportunity, as the city can provide high-quality international services in areas such as finance, supply chain management, marketing, and design.

This year’s CIFTIS has attracted 85 countries and international organizations, including Australia, Germany, and the World Intellectual Property Organization. The event showcased the world’s first 3D-printed high-polymer fatigue-resistant absorbable vascular stent, the world’s first 8K-level ultra-high-definition secondary site distribution platform, and China’s first professional photonic quantum computer breaking the thousand-qubit threshold.
