(Bandar Seri Begawan, 14th) His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei will travel to Kazan, Russian Federation, from the 17th to the 18th of this month to attend the ASEAN–Russia Commemorative Summit.
This commemorative summit is held in conjunction with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of ASEAN–Russia relations, and will be co-chaired by this year's ASEAN Chair, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, and Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin. His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei and other ASEAN leaders will also attend the meeting.
The summit is expected to review the progress achieved under the "ASEAN–Russia Comprehensive Action Plan 2021–2025," outline future cooperation directions, and reaffirm the shared commitment of all parties to strengthen the ASEAN–Russia strategic partnership.
