A bizarre incident occurred in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. A 57-year-old male care worker was arrested on the 29th by the Nishinomiya Police Station in Hyogo Prefecture on suspicion of unlawful entry into a building, after intruding into a train station men's restroom and exhibiting abnormal behavior.

According to Japanese media outlet “Kobe Shimbun,” the outrageous case took place around 4:30 p.m. on September 1 this year, at the Hankyu Nishinomiya Kitaguchi Station in Nishinomiya City. The 57-year-old care worker from Itami City entered the men’s restroom without proper reason, then rushed close to a high school boy who was using the urinal, extended his hand to catch the boy’s urine and drank it, saying “thank you” before leaving.

After receiving a report from the high school student, police reviewed surveillance footage to identify the suspect, and arrested him on the 29th of this month. The suspect admitted to the crime without hesitation.

After the case was reported, the suspect’s abnormal and incomprehensible actions quickly sparked heated discussion among Japanese netizens. One netizen commented in horror that this news instantly reminded him of a terrifying childhood memory: “I remember once when I was a child, a woman I didn’t know asked me, ‘Can I drink your urine?’ in front of a public restroom in a park.” He said that at that time, since he didn’t know what “perversion” meant, he didn’t feel afraid, but now, looking back, he finds it truly chilling.

Other netizens also expressed their incomprehension: “There really are all kinds of people in this world.” Some compared this case with past bizarre crime stories, exclaiming, “This is disgust to the extreme.” However, some netizens brought up another viewpoint: “A male entering a men's restroom, being charged with unlawful entry into a building, is a bit hard to understand. Charging him with something like indecency would make more sense.”
