Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin, starring in the outer space drama series “Ask the Stars,” held a press conference in Seoul yesterday (9th). The two share a mysterious chemistry amidst the vast, boundless galaxy. In the first two episodes, the highlight is when ‘Obstetrician’ Lee Min Ho not only heals the wounds of ‘Spaceship Commander’ Gong Hyo Jin but also successfully resuscitates a mouse, making Gong Hyo Jin so happy that she spontaneously hugs him, creating a scene filled with romantic vibes.
Lee Min Ho expressed that he enjoys life in outer space and mentioned that this is a work to explore life and get to know the unknown. Gong Hyo Jin revealed that she is a big fan of scriptwriter Seo Sook Hyang and director Park Shin Woo. The second female lead, Han Ji Eun, shared about her character, mentioning that she is someone deeply in love, and Lee Min Ho jokingly retorted, “Why are you still acting today, so immersed in the character!” amusing everyone.
When asked how she developed chemistry with Lee Min Ho, Gong Hyo Jin said that they are both very slow to warm up and are people who slowly develop relationships. She also pointed out that if sparks fly when two people are together, then there won’t be any surprises later on. Gong Hyo Jin answered “ugly duckling,” because Korey (the character played by Lee Min Ho) is not welcomed on the spaceship but keeps causing situations to seek the care of the swan mother.
