(Pyongyang, 24th) — KCNA reported on the 24th that North Korea’s Missile General Bureau test-fired new types of air defense missiles on the 23rd, aiming to examine the combat performance of two newly improved air defense missiles. Kim Jong-un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, attended the test-firing event.
The report stated that, according to the test-firing evaluation, the new air defense missile weapon systems possess superior rapid-response combat capabilities against various aerial targets such as attacking drones and cruise missiles.
