(Miri, 20th) After successfully co-organizing a blood donation event on Malaysia Day, September 16th, the Miri Kwong Ning Association and Red Crescent Society will co-organize the 'World Volunteer Day Drop of Blood, Drop of Kindness' blood donation event on December 15th from 8 AM to 1 PM at the Red Crescent Society. This will be the 11th time both parties co-organize this event.
This preparation committee is led by the association's committee member Liang Xianghui.
The president of Miri Kwong Ning Association stated that the blood donation event on September 16th, Malaysia Day, was very successful, with 150 donors. This time, the target is 100 donors, and everyone is encouraged to participate enthusiastically.
He mentioned that successful donors will receive generous gifts, including 5 kg of fragrant rice, packaged milk beverages, certificates, and other items. This is a token of appreciation for the donors.
Blood donors perform a noble deed, as many people in critical conditions, especially those with anemia, can be brought back to life. Thus, with your contribution, you also add glory and blessing to your own life.
Furthermore, Prima Borneo Clinic will be at the venue to perform blood tests and health check-ups.
The mayor of Miri, Yu Xiaoshan, will be invited to inspect the event and present certificates.
