Long Lama Ji Ze Ge Establishment Celebration Joins the De Jiao Family

(Miri, 21st) Long Lama Ji Ze Ge Moral Uplifting Society held an establishment celebration dinner on the 19th at the banquet hall of Park City Everly Hotel, formally becoming a new member of the De Jiao family, marking an important step in the development of De Jiao in the remote areas of Sarawak.

The Deputy Chairman of East Malaysia De Jiao Federation and Chairman of Miri Che Lee Khor Moral Uplifting Society Tony Pui, warmly welcomed the establishment of Ji Ze Ge in his speech at the dinner, and urged the new chapter to actively pass on moral culture, promote charity and public welfare, and bring benefits to the community.

Tony Pui stated that the establishment of Ji Ze Ge has received great assistance from Chu Hsiang Ge and Bukit Kayu Hitam Ji Yan Ge and Bagan Datuk Ji Fa Ge. After years of preparation, it finally settled in Long Lama Town. This not only highlights the development of De Jiao in Sarawak but also holds special significance, as Long Lama is one of the most remote areas where De Jiao is distributed.

He recalled that in the past, it took a 3-hour drive from Miri to Long Lama, but now with improved infrastructure, the travel time has been greatly reduced. He hopes Ji Ze Ge will leverage the convenient transportation to actively carry out charity activities for people of all races, assist those in need, and promote the ideals of De Jiao.

He also mentioned that Ji Ze Ge was originally planned to be established in 2020, but was postponed to this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Penghulu Yap Siong King serving as the chairman of the founding council. He hopes the new chapter members will unite and face challenges together, contributing to the cause of De Jiao.

Tony Pui emphasized that De Jiao integrates the essence of five major religions and educates people through its ten chapters and eight articles, bearing the important mission of passing on moral culture and promoting charity spirit. He encouraged De brothers and sisters to engage in-depth dialogue with the members of Long Lama during the celebration dinner to enhance understanding and leave good memories of this journey.
