Suspected of 'Having an Affair with God-sister,' Caught in Bed – Jason Chan Pak Hei's Poor Image Leads to Switch to Internet Influencer

Hong Kong actor Jason Chan Pak Hei was once a heavily-promoted TVB actor, starring as the male lead in the TV drama "Rainbow Connections" alongside Maggie Cheung, and later playing "Yelü Qi" in the 1995 version of "The Return of the Condor Heroes." However, in 2018 he made headlines for having an extramarital affair with his "god-sister" Yuen Chin Man. It was even reported that he was caught in bed by his wife, which led to the end of their 31-year marriage. Consequently, his workload plummeted, and in recent years he’s switched careers to become an internet influencer.

Jason Chan originally was a top actor in TVB, but he allegedly offended senior executives at the network, stalling his career. He first switched industries to sell cars, then returned to the entertainment circle, shooting Category III films, but never regained his former stardom. In 2018, scandal broke when he was said to be having an affair with his "god-sister" Yuen Chin Man. Jason Chan Pak Hei recently appeared on a show for an interview. The host did not shy away from directly mentioning rumors about his chaotic private life, to which he responded, "Which youngster doesn’t play around? Everyone does—it’s just a matter of to what extent." He believes that he is scrutinized more closely simply for being a public figure. He also emphasized that he was not alone with Yuen Chin Man at the time—others were present.
