Lin Sijian Sends New Year Greetings to Sarawak Residents, Looking Forward to a Bright Future

(Miri, 27th) As the Year of the Snake approaches, Alan Ling Sie Kiong, Secretary of the Sarawak Hope Alliance and Democratic Action Party, extends his sincerest New Year greetings to all residents of Sarawak!

He stated that the Lunar New Year is not only a time to bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, and to gather for reunion, but also a chance filled with hope and future planning. He sincerely wishes Sarawak a peaceful and stable development in the new year and hopes that it will continue to thrive with multiculturalism and unity as its foundation, moving towards a more prosperous future.

He specifically mentioned his hope for all residents of Sarawak to live and work in peace and happiness. Whether they are from the agricultural and industrial sectors, business elites, or the younger generation chasing their dreams, he hopes they will achieve success in their careers, live smoothly and safely, and contribute more happiness and positive energy to their families and society.

He also extended special wishes to the diligent students of Sarawak, encouraging them to achieve academic success, make continuous progress, and lay a solid foundation for personal and social future through persistent efforts.
In addition, as a board member of the Malaysian Sports Council, Alan Ling Sie Kiong emphasized the government's significant initiatives in recent years in promoting the sports economy and empowering the youth. Firstly, for "ensuring athlete welfare," the government has provided provident fund and social security contributions for national athletes, enhancing their professional security. Secondly, "tax relief to support a healthy lifestyle," individuals, children, or parents can enjoy an income tax deduction of up to RM 1,000 for expenses on sports and fitness activities. Thirdly, "expanding sports projects."

The national sports projects have been expanded to 103 events, including the popular esports among young people. "Improving vocational education employment rates" through strengthening vocational education, the government is working to improve the employment rate of vocational graduates, providing more job opportunities for the youth. "Assisting youth training" by allocating significant funds to support youth technical training, providing a better platform for their future development.

He calls on everyone to seize the government's favorable policies in the new year and strive for the prosperity of Sarawak and the happiness of all Sarawak residents, so that every family is filled with joy and laughter.

Finally, Alan Ling Sie Kiong once again extends his sincere wishes to all Sarawak residents: "Wishing everyone a happy Lunar New Year, good health, family happiness, and prosperity in the Year of the Snake!"
