On the 6th, Trump held a press conference to announce that agreements had been reached with pharmaceutical companies Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk to provide popular medications, including weight loss and diabetes drugs, at low prices to the public through a government website launching next year. However, there was an unexpected incident on-site: a senior executive from Novo Nordisk suddenly fainted.
According to the Daily Mirror, Novo Nordisk executive Findlay had been standing behind Trump when he suddenly collapsed, after which government officials and pharmaceutical representatives immediately came to his aid. White House Press Secretary Leavitt later issued a statement saying, 'The White House medical team responded quickly, and Findlay is currently in good condition. The press conference resumed shortly afterwards.' However, the statement did not mention the cause of his collapse.
