JCI TOYM Malaysia Awards Ceremony to be Held in Miri on September 19

(Miri, 17th) The Malaysia Junior Chamber International (JCI) last night announced the Top 30 finalists for the '2025 Malaysia Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award' (JCI TOYM 2025) at the banquet hall of the Eastwood Valley Golf & Country Club in Miri. Talented individuals from various fields were nominated, and the final 'Ten Outstanding Young Persons' will be awarded at a ceremony to be held at Pullman Hotel Miri on September 19.
Chairperson of the organising committee for the '2025 Malaysia Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award' Yang Jun Ting stated in her speech that this event is more than just a list announcement—it's a celebration of the vision, passion and power of youth, embodying the ability of young Malaysians to drive national progress through practical action.
She said that this year, the organisers received enthusiastic nominations from across the country, with every nomination telling a moving story, demonstrating influence, innovation, and a commitment to serve society. The high quality of the nominations made the judging process a real challenge, and making it to the Top 30 is no easy feat.
'The work, vision and values of the finalists have not only been recognised by the judges, but also deeply resonate with the spirit of the Outstanding Young Persons Award. You should all be very proud. This is not only recognition of your past achievements, but also a reminder of your extraordinary potential to help shape the future of Malaysia.'

Yang Jun Ting emphasized that the 'Outstanding Young Persons Award' is not just an honorary title, but also a platform—a stage where the voices of youth are heard, their ideas disseminated, and their actions inspire others.
She said that to be a finalist of the Outstanding Young Persons Award is to shoulder the responsibility of being a role model, showing the next generation that leadership is not determined by age, but by courage, action, and purpose.
'I encourage every finalist to keep sharing your stories, build your influence, and bring about change in your own way. Let this honor be the incentive that propels you to greater heights.'
She also called upon all guests and society to continue supporting and spreading the inspiring stories of these youth, so that together, we can build a better, stronger, and more inclusive Malaysia.
The 2025 Malaysia Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award covers ten categories including business, politics, academia, culture, environment, humanitarianism, science, medical innovation, and more.
