(Bandar Seri Begawan, 3 Jan) Chinese Ambassador Xiao Jianguo met with Brunei's Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, Dato Abdul Manaf, yesterday.
Ambassador Xiao Jianguo congratulated Dato Abdul Manaf on his recent successful visit to China and the signing of a memorandum of understanding on agricultural cooperation between the two countries. He expressed his willingness to work together with Brunei to implement the important consensus reached by both countries' leaders, effectively realize the memorandum of understanding, and continuously strengthen cooperation in the agricultural and fisheries sectors. This effort aims to aid Brunei's food security and better benefit the people of both countries.
Minister Dato Manaf introduced the outcomes of his visit to China and its significant achievements. He thanked China for its support towards the development of Brunei's agriculture and fisheries industries and expressed his willingness to further strengthen collaboration and coordination with China to promote better development in Brunei's agricultural and fisheries sectors.
