V.I.Ps get ready to scream! After 11 years, K-pop megastars BIGBANG are finally returning to the Malaysian stage as a complete group! Celebrating their 20th anniversary since debut, and following multiple previous 'teasers' from leader G-DRAGON about the group's reunion plans, the official announcement was made today (11th) with details of the BIGBANG 20/26 WORLD TOUR. It is now confirmed that the group will perform for the first time at TM National Stadium on January 9, 2027 (Saturday), a news that has instantly sent fans into a frenzy of excitement.

According to the official tour poster, the BIGBANG 20/26 WORLD TOUR will span Asia, North America, Europe, and Oceania, kicking off this August at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea. Afterward, they will head to iconic venues such as Oakland in the United States, New York’s MetLife Stadium, France’s Stade de France, the UK’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, and more. The tour will then continue to cities like Taipei, Singapore, Hanoi, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Kaohsiung, and others.

YG Entertainment also stated: “In order to meet the expectations of fans who have waited for so long, we are putting our utmost effort into every aspect, including the scale and completeness of this tour.” They also revealed that more tour stops will be announced later and encouraged fans to stay tuned.

The last time BIGBANG performed as a complete group in Malaysia was at the 2016 MADE [V.I.P] TOUR IN KUALA LUMPUR, held at Stadium Merdeka. After that, the members gradually entered mandatory military service, and the group’s activities were put on pause. After their discharge, G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG all visited Malaysia for solo performances, but it is still the sight of the full line-up on stage that fans have been longing for.

This world tour is titled “20/26,” symbolizing BIGBANG’s major milestone—the group’s 20th anniversary since debut in 2006—and marking the beginning of a brand new chapter for them. As for ticket sale dates, prices, and other details, these have yet to be announced, but excitement has already swept across the fanbase. Many V.I.Ps are gearing up for the upcoming ticket-buying frenzy.
