(Miri, 2nd) Due to continuous heavy rainfall in Miri and Bintulu leading to severe flooding, many families have been forced to evacuate and temporarily reside in relief centers. To aid the affected communities, Shin Yang Group Berhad (SYGB) has actively extended a helping hand by providing emergency supplies to the disaster areas.
The relief supplies include food, drinking water, and other basic living necessities, which have been delivered to several designated relief centers in Miri and Bintulu.
In Miri, 300 food supplies were handed over to the Dewan Pusat Bulan Sabit Merah this morning for distribution to the temporary shelters at Dewan Pujut Tanjung, Dewan Kampung Sukan Petronas, among others.
In Bintulu, affected families also received assistance, with 400 supplies arranged for distribution to temporary shelters at Sukan Kidurong and Sg Plan and other areas.

Shin Yang Group CEO Capt Ting expressed that the group is always concerned about community welfare and readily provides necessary assistance during critical times.
He pointed out that they are aware of the difficulties faced by affected families and hope that this aid provides timely support. Shin Yang Group will continue to fulfill corporate social responsibilities, stepping forward to support groups in need during disasters.
Currently, Shin Yang Group is working closely with local governments and relief units to ensure that supplies reach the affected communities effectively.
