17 Years of Marriage Ends: Sze Ming Still Considers Lee Ka Ding Family

Sze Ming and Lee Ka Ding met and fell in love while filming a movie, and officially got married in 1977. The final straw that broke their marriage happened on Sze Ming's birthday: at that time, Sze Ming was displeased with how Lee Ka Ding handled a call from a student and chose to lock herself in her room to reflect. When Lee Ka Ding tried to open the door, he lost control of his emotions and ended up punching through the door. This left Sze Ming deeply disheartened, putting an end to their marriage.

After the divorce, Sze Ming chose to move to the United States with her two sons. Lee Ka Ding even flew to the US in an attempt to reconcile and save the family, but was ultimately unsuccessful. Although the affection between husband and wife has faded, the two did not become enemies because of the divorce.
