(Kuala Lumpur, 3rd) Around 30,000 people participated in the final night of the 2026 Rain Rave Water Music Festival at Bukit Bintang last night. The event was conducted safely and orderly with no unpleasant incidents, except for a woman who was arrested for carrying a sharp weapon.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil stated that a 28-year-old local woman was found in possession of a knife and was arrested by the police.

He said the suspect would be brought to court in the morning for remand proceedings, and that all other situations were well under control.

He also mentioned that besides the woman, police carried out several preventive arrests of suspicious individuals over the course of the water music festival.

"However, so far, none of these individuals have tested positive for drugs or been linked to any criminal activities."

Fadil said this during a press conference after the festival's closing event, noting that overall security, public order, and traffic conditions during the closing event were all at good levels.

He pointed out that to ensure the smooth running of the three-day Rain Rave Water Music Festival, 500 police officers and personnel from the Kuala Lumpur Police Headquarters and six metropolitan districts were stationed at the site each night, with support from Bukit Aman National Police Headquarters.
