(Kuala Lumpur, 4th) Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi has expressed his condolences to the family of the late former MCA president Tun Ling Liong Sik.
Ling Liong Sik passed away on Saturday morning (April 4), and Fahmi subsequently posted on Facebook to offer his condolences to Ling's wife, Dupuan Wong Wei Nah, and their family.
He said that Ling Liong Sik made tremendous contributions to the nation’s development throughout his life, including serving as Minister of Information from 1976 to 1982.
"His contributions, leadership, and diligence in government will always be remembered, and will serve as inspiration for future generations."
"May Dupuan and her family stay strong, and may he (Ling Liong Sik) rest in peace."
