White House Press Secretary Leavitt stated on the 17th that President Trump has recently experienced swelling in his leg and has been diagnosed with a venous disease.
At a press conference, she said that an ultrasound examination of Trump’s leg showed he has chronic venous insufficiency.
She stated: “This is a common condition, especially among people over 70 years old.”
Leavitt pointed out that the examination did not find any signs of serious illnesses such as heart failure or kidney dysfunction.
The 79-year-old Trump was seen at the FIFA Club World Cup final in New York last week, where photos showed a noticeably swollen ankle, sparking speculation about his health.
