JD.com Warehouse in France Robbed, Company Says Police Are Investigating

Chinese e-commerce platform JD.com’s warehouse in the Paris area of France was robbed, and the company says local police have launched an investigation.

JD.com told China’s Shanghai Securities News that its warehouse in the Paris area of France was robbed on Monday (December 22), and local police have intervened to investigate. The warehouse has since resumed normal operations.

JD.com also stated that the “significant loss data” disclosed by related parties largely differs from the actual situation.
According to reports from AFP and French news channel franceinfo, the warehouse that was robbed is located in Digny, 17 kilometers north of Paris. Over 50,000 mobile phones, computers, headphones, and tablets were stolen, with losses amounting to 37 million euros (about 188.7 million Malaysian ringgit).
