(Bandar Seri Begawan, 19th Jan) To express goodwill and promote cultural exchange, the Korean Embassy donated 14 books to the library of the Brunei University of Technology.
The handover ceremony was held at the university library, with Kim Byeong-guk, Second Secretary and Consul of the Korean Embassy, handing over the books to Brunei University of Technology Assistant Vice-Chancellor, Othman.
The donated books are expected to enhance the learning experience of the university's students and the public, and provide valuable insights into Korean society. The embassy hopes that these books will be beneficial to the university's students and the public, deepening understanding and appreciation of Korea.
The Korean bookshelf in the university library will continue to be a center for students, faculty, and the public to explore and engage with Korean culture, further promoting educational and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The university library plans to provide resources and lending services to local residents and students to enhance understanding of Korean culture.
Additionally, the library plans to collaborate with the embassy to organize promotional events to strengthen the promotion of Korean culture and enhance cooperation between the embassy and the university.
