(Miri, 14th) SJK(C) Chiaw Nan Miri held its 2024/2025 first graduation and award ceremony this morning in the school's multipurpose hall, witnessed by a total of 182 students and the first batch of 3 sixth-grade graduates.
The school's board secretary, Kong San Hoe, noted in his speech that Chiaw Nan School has developed rapidly since its establishment last July. The school initially offered courses for grades one to three, and later expanded to grades four to six. Currently, the school has 12 classes, 182 students, and a team of 28 teachers and clerks.
He particularly mentioned that last year the school completed the modernization of 12 classrooms with smart electronics, introducing the MI E-Classroom system, providing students with a modern learning environment and significantly enhancing teaching quality.
Looking forward to the new school year, he revealed that the enrollment for first graders has reached 73, reflecting parents' high trust in Chiaw Nan School's educational philosophy. He took this opportunity to thank the accurate planning of the school leadership team and the hard work of all teachers, stating that these efforts have laid a solid foundation for the comprehensive growth of students.
He hoped that parents would continue to pay attention to their children's education, cultivate good study and life habits, and work hand in hand with the school to nurture excellent students with both virtue and talent.
In his speech, he specifically congratulated the first batch of sixth-grade graduates. He stated that although the graduates' time at Chiaw Nan School was brief, they completed their primary education tasks with effort and perseverance. Graduation is not just the end of a learning phase, but also the beginning of a new journey. He encouraged the graduates to embrace future challenges guided by their ideals and to write splendid chapters in their lives.
In addition, Kong San Hoe also commended students who performed admirably in academics, character, and extracurricular activities, stating that their achievements are not only a personal pride but also a glory to the school. He wished all students academic progress and good health in the new year.
