(Siburan, 10th) Yang Chenglin, Chairman of the Siburan New Village Mutual Aid Society, said in his speech at the society’s 60th anniversary and senior citizens' appreciation dinner that the society has weathered 60 years of trials, and its continued development is thanks to the founders’ belief in mutual support, as well as the long-term support and participation from successive committees, members, villagers, and friends from all walks of life.
Yang Chenglin pointed out that on this meaningful day, everyone gathered together to grandly celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Siburan New Village Mutual Aid Society. On behalf of the entire committee, he expressed his sincerest gratitude and highest respect to all those who have cared for, supported, and accompanied the growth of the society over the years.
He said that looking back 60 years ago, the society's founders established the Siburan New Village Mutual Aid Society with a spirit of mutual support despite limited resources and difficult circumstances. From its beginnings in mutual help, the society has gradually developed into an important organization that unites the community and serves the villagers, carrying the dedication and wisdom of countless predecessors along the way.
Yang Chenglin stated that the word "Mutual Aid" is not only the name of the association, but also the core spirit of the society. For 60 years, the society has consistently upheld the principles of unity, mutual assistance, and social care—making unremitting efforts to promote community welfare, support vulnerable groups, and encourage cultural exchanges.
He also pointed out that whether it is festive activities, public welfare affairs, or community development, the Siburan New Village Mutual Aid Society has always actively participated, leaving behind the footprints of members working together, fully reflecting the association's responsibility and commitment to serving the community and giving back to society.
Yang Chenglin especially thanked successive committees, all members, and villagers for their enthusiastic participation and steadfast support. He stated that it is precisely because everyone works together that the Mutual Aid Society can pass the torch and continue to thrive. He also thanked friendly groups and government departments for their long-term support, which has empowered the society's work and expanded its influence.
Looking to the future, Yang Chenglin said that the Siburan New Village Mutual Aid Society will continue to uphold the spirit of its founders, keep pace with the times, actively promote community development, and encourage more young people to participate in society affairs, allowing the concept of 'mutual aid' to shine anew in this new era.
He emphasized that as long as everyone walks together in solidarity, the Siburan New Village Mutual Aid Society will certainly move toward an even better tomorrow.
Finally, Yang Chenglin wished the society ever-increasing prosperity, and wished all guests, committee members, members, and villagers good health, family happiness, and all the best.
