Bandar Seri Begawan, 9th -- The Royal Brunei Police Force recently held a special lecture titled "Trace Evidence" at the auditorium of the Gadong Police Headquarters building. The lecture was delivered by officials from the Ministry of Health's Scientific Services Department and was attended by officers and members from the Criminal Investigation Department and various police districts.
During the lecture, topics revolved around forensic analytical techniques related to trace evidence in criminal investigations, such as fibers, hair, glass, soil, and other substances that could become important clues. Experts shared the latest techniques in evidence collection, analysis, and interpretation that can assist in identifying suspects or supporting case evidence in court.
The event aimed to enhance overall investigative capability and efficiency by strengthening existing procedures for evidence analysis, packaging, and transmission, ensuring judicial fairness.
