Kevin Cheng and Grace Chan Show Off Their Love in Malaysia: The Air is Filled with Pink Bubbles

Hong Kong celebrities Kevin Cheng and Grace Chan appeared sweetly together as a couple at Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur on the 11th, attending a promotional event for the Japanese skincare and beauty brand KANEBO. The pair entered hand in hand, gazing affectionately at each other throughout. They constantly exchanged playful banter and teasing during the event, exuding loving chemistry and becoming the center of attention.

When asked whether they would appear together more often in dramas or variety shows in the future, Kevin Cheng immediately played up his humor, saying: “We are expensive as a pair, not negotiable, very expensive!” which drew laughter from the audience. He then said seriously that currently, the couple still prioritizes accompanying their three sons as their main task. “If we work together, who’ll look after the kids? At this stage, we still have to split our time properly—kids grow up fast, and later, even if you want to accompany them, you might not get the chance.”

Grace Chan recently participated in “Sisters Who Make Waves 2026” (“乘风2026”), collaborating with legendary Chinese short track speed skater Wang Meng to perform “Exclusive Memories.” The pair was even nicknamed the “MengLin CP” by netizens. Upon hearing this, Kevin Cheng pretended to be jealous, smiling and asking the reporter, “What did you say? Can you repeat that?” However, he admitted that he seldom checks social media and entertainment news himself, and instead relies on his wife to keep him updated.

Grace Chan also supported her husband’s “not reading comments” habit, feeling that reading too many negative comments only affects one’s mood. She confessed that “Sisters Who Make Waves 2026” was an important breakthrough in her life: “I never had a duet stage before and had no experience in singing and dancing. Being able to stand on stage and sing a few lines in Cantonese this time meant a lot to me, and it was a beautiful memory.”

Talking about his wife’s performance on the show, Kevin Cheng revealed that Grace demanded he watch every episode, and that he would watch the show together with their kids and give his most honest feedback. “She’s already under a lot of pressure, so I wouldn’t just offer pleasant but unconstructive compliments. As someone who’s not a professional singer, her performance is already amazing—she gets 99 points in my heart, but I won’t quite give out a full 100.” He then playfully poked fun at himself, mentioning how he was eliminated at the first public performance in Season 3 of “Call Me By Fire” (“披荆斩棘”). Before he could continue, Grace quickly grabbed his hand and stopped him, causing the audience to burst into laughter with their playful interaction.

Grace Chan expressed that after finishing “Sisters Who Make Waves,” she would return to her role as a mother, while Kevin joked: “I already took care of the kids for three months, so you think about it now—it has to be fair!” He said that there are different choices for different stages of life, and he truly enjoys accompanying their three sons as they grow up. “Thank you, wife, for giving me this opportunity—except when they’re too naughty, I really enjoy spending time with my three ‘little monkeys’.”

Besides sharing fun family anecdotes, the couple also talked at length about skincare tips. Kevin joked that he was originally a man “too lazy for skincare,” but all thanks to Grace introducing him to suitable KANEBO products. During the fan interaction session, a fan brought her 3-year-old daughter to the stage. Grace immediately delightedly picked up the little girl, and upon learning that she was the same age as their youngest son, Kevin exclaimed with a smile, “So well-behaved!
