(Seria, 29th) The Seria Fuzhou Association will be holding a grand 70th Anniversary Celebration Dinner in conjunction with its founding anniversary on November 29th (Saturday), at 6pm, in the banquet hall of the V Plaza Hotel in Seria. Under the leadership of Chairman Hwang Lim Ming, the organizing committee members have already begun making courtesy visits, sincerely inviting guests from all walks of life to attend the event.
The preparatory committee recently made a courtesy visit to Bandar Seri Begawan, delivering invitation cards to Dr. Lau Sui Chuan, President of the Brunei Fuzhou Ten Counties Association, Women’s Section Leader Fang Xiufei, representatives from the Brunei Hokkien Association, Mr. and Mrs. Gong Zhaohui, permanent honorary advisors to the Seria Fuzhou Association, honorary advisors Zheng Qifeng and He Quanyou, as well as legal advisor Lawyer Yu Qingzai, among other guests.
Chairman Hwang Lim Ming stated, “Seventy years of growth is not the result of a single day’s effort, but the outcome of generations of inheritance, dedication, and silent contribution. It is thanks to the foresight and wisdom of our pioneers, the resolute leadership of our elders, and the selfless, diligent efforts of our committee members that the Seria Fuzhou Association has stood firm and exceptional over these seventy years—serving the welfare of our fellow townsmen and adding vibrancy to the livelihood of the community.”
The 70th Anniversary Celebration Organizing Committee will, in the remaining month, make every effort to enter the final stage of preparations, traveling to various places for visits to ensure that distinguished guests gather in large numbers and that the celebration will be an unprecedented, grand event, leaving behind a beautiful historic memory.
