(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) The Royal Brunei Police Force Tutong District, together with several enforcement agencies, carried out a joint operation at five different locations in Tutong District.
This operation was led by Assistant Superintendent of Criminal Police, Muhammad Azimin,
with a total of 62 police officers and personnel from the Tutong Police District, Royal Customs and Excise Department, Immigration and National Registration Department, Internal Security Department, and Narcotics Control Bureau participating.
During the operation, the Tutong Police District discovered four cases of traffic violations; the Royal Customs and Excise Department uncovered twelve cases involving possession of contraband; the Immigration and National Registration Department found three cases of overstaying; and the Narcotics Control Bureau identified two drug use cases.
Such joint operations reflect the commitment and cooperation among enforcement agencies to strengthen law enforcement and maintain national security, peace, and order. The public is also urged at all times to abide by the law and report any illegal activities to the relevant authorities.
