After discussions between the relevant parties of Shanghai and Taipei, the "2025 Shanghai-Taipei City Forum" will be held in Shanghai on December 28.
According to Xinhua News Agency, this forum is themed "Technology Changes Life" and will promote experience sharing and interactive exchanges between the two cities in fields such as technological healthcare, rail transit, and healthy aging through discussions and exchanges. During the forum, the two cities will sign relevant memoranda of exchange and cooperation to further deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields between Shanghai and Taipei.
The "Twin Cities Forum" has been alternately hosted by Shanghai and Taipei since 2010, serving as an important mechanism-based exchange platform between the two cities. To date, both sides have signed 47 exchange and cooperation memoranda.
According to Taiwanese media reports, Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an will lead a delegation to Shanghai on December 27.
