After the awards, there was a jury feedback and review session. Four Bruneian judges shared their selection criteria, insights, lessons learned, and constructive advice with the new generation of filmmakers and the public.
The 8th UBD Film Festival has been held for four consecutive years as an official event under the ASEAN University Network on Culture & Arts (AUN-CA). This year, more than 80 short film entries were received from 17 higher education institutions across ASEAN, including Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
In addition, a film co-produced by UBD students and the University of Seville in Spain added more diversity to the submissions for the 8th PRISM Film Festival.
