According to the Lebanese National News Agency, multiple areas in the Nabatieh Governorate in southern Lebanon were bombed by the IDF on the evening of the 3rd. In addition, an Israeli drone hit a car driving on the road in Hay al-Lade in the suburbs of Lebanon's capital Beirut, resulting in one death and three injuries.
Since the outbreak of the new round of Israeli-Palestinian conflict in October 2023, Hezbollah in Lebanon has from time to time used drones and anti-tank missiles to attack northern Israel, supporting Hamas fighting the IDF in Gaza. The IDF responded with airstrikes and shelling of southern Lebanese targets. In September last year, the Israel-Lebanon conflict suddenly escalated.
