In her speech, Datuk Rosey Yunus stated that the relief center is still operational, and as long as there are flood victims, the center will remain open, currently accommodating 116 residents.
She said that the Sarawak government is very concerned about community safety, especially the safety of children, which is our top priority, and expressed gratitude to non-governmental organizations for providing food to flood victims.
On the other hand, the Director of the Public Works Department of Sarawak, Cassidy Morris, said at the meeting that the Public Works Department is very concerned about residents affected by landslides and collapses. We will ensure everyone's safety by opening alternative routes to overcome this issue.
