(Bandar Seri Begawan, 22nd) – Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) recently participated in the Prophet Muhammad's birthday prayer ceremony held at Kampong Mulaut Pengiran Muda Abdul Mateen Mosque, reflecting the bank’s continuing commitment to upholding Islamic values and traditions, while encouraging the spiritual reflection and involvement of employees and the community.
Approximately 40 BIBD employees attended the religious gathering, which was led by BIBD Deputy Assistant Managing Director, Minohadi.
The main event consisted of the recitation of “Dikir Syarafil Anam” in praise and commemoration of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This provided staff with an opportunity to join congregants in collective prayer and reflection, marking the significant meaning of the Prophet’s birthday.
BIBD was invited to take part in the ceremony by Pengiran Muda Mosque, further strengthening ties between the bank and local religious institutions and community.
As Brunei’s leading Islamic financial institution, BIBD continuously supports religious and community activities that promote faith, reflection, unity, and shared values.
The bank stated that such activities are part of their overall efforts to cultivate a values-driven organizational culture and to foster meaningful connections with the communities they serve.
