Trump Transforms into Superman; Director: Superman is an Immigrant

The 2025 edition of “Superman” is currently showing, as the White House posted a photoshopped meme of President Trump dressed as Superman on social media platform X on the 11th.

In the composite photo, Trump is seen wearing a Superman costume, with the post quoting Superman’s famous line: “A symbol of hope. Truth, justice, and the American way. Superman Trump.”

The meme directly swaps the face of David Corenswet, the main actor in the “Superman” movie poster, with Trump’s face, sparking heated discussion among netizens.

This meme was quickly met with merciless mockery online. Democratic congressman Garcia posted: “Trump is the real Lex Luthor,” referring to Superman’s arch-enemy in the comics.

Several netizens commented that the files of the late sex offender billionaire Epstein are “Trump’s kryptonite,” referring to the recent controversy where Elon Musk claimed Trump was listed among Epstein’s underage sex trafficking clients. Kryptonite is known as Superman’s greatest weakness in the comics.

The new “Superman” movie’s director James Gunn stated this week: “Superman is an American story: an immigrant from somewhere else who settled in this country.” In the story, Superman is born on the fictional planet Krypton and later moves to the United States.

James Gunn’s comments angered some “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) Trump supporters, who could not tolerate the character of Superman being labeled as an “immigrant.”
